Horse Conch

Description

Horse Conch: Known by the natives as the state shell of Florida.  Along with the orange, there is nothing that symbolizes Florida more that the Horse Conch.  This resourceful shell not only provides a popular food source, but also served as a signaling device.  Before the use of modern technology, sponge divers actually used this shell to communicate with other boats.  Large, rugged and unrefined, it serves as a timeless reminder of Old Florida. This shell will highlight any type of aquatic theme.
